About Patrick
Welcome to 42type, This website is mainly used for me to post my thoughts, tutorials, and of course design tips! On top of serving as my personal web log it is also the location of my current web design and development portfolio, so I can showcase my work to the public.
My name is Patrick Johnson, I am currently a freelance web designer and developer residing in Belleville, Ontario, Canada. Obviously this is where I spend the greater portion of time, behind my computer working away at some new website.
I started Developing and designing websites roughly 4 years ago when I first learned HTML in my grade 7 computer class, and it took off from there. Now I currently do all of my web work using Xhtml, Css, Php, Mysql, and Ajax, combining all of these technologies can assist greatly in the creation of an efficient, clean, and accessible website. In my time working with websites I have had to opportunity to tackle many different challenges, from full custom forum integration, to programming a full featured content management engine for a client, which has equipped me with the knowledge and experience now to avoid almost any obstacle in web design.
